RICHARD ANDERSON

Graduate Research Assistant

Background: Previous classes/lab experience with aerodynamics for the automotive and aerospace fields, thermodynamics, and propulsion systems. Currently working on improving DBD plasma actuators for use at higher Reynolds' and Mach numbers, and increasing their induced velocity and force.

Previous Institution: University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (2003 BSE in Aerospace Engineering).
Kettering University, Flint, MI (Currently finishing thesis for MSE in Mechanical Engineering; expected completion in December 2007)

Current Activities: Finishing research applicable to the MSE to be earned from Kettering University (for which classwork is complete) and taking classes toward a PhD in Aerospace Engineering.
After completing MSE research, will continue research for PhD.
