Background: in India, grew up in Kolkata and completed high school in Miami.
Previous Institution: Went to St. Joseph's College in Kolkata, and then Felix Varela Senior High and School for Advanced Studies for last year of high school in Miami.
Current Activities: Enrolled in dual undergrad degree for BS in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Doing University Scholars Program for the year 2009-2010.
Publications: Will be getting published by the end of Spring 2010, in Journal of Undergraduate Research or possibly even a professional journal in the field. I am currently working on plasma sterilization devices.
Extracurricular Activities: I am member of AIAA student organization at UF. I enjoy playing basketball and indoor soccer. I love the outdoors and go on trails often.
Long Term Goals: I want to pursue a PhD after my undergrad in a space-related field, and I envision myself in the future as leading some important NASA projects that further humanity?s frontiers in space.
